Aluminum Aerosol Can Production
AEROBAL, the International Organization of Aluminum Aerosol Container Manufacturers, just released its stats for the beginning of 2016 year.
Unsurprisingly, aluminum aerosol can production increased significantly from last year!
Aerosol Popularity
Aerosol products have made difficult tasks like cleaning the bathroom, painting lawn furniture, and getting rid of unappealing odors from your home or car as easy as a walk in the park. So, it should come as no surprise that the aerosol industry continues to grow in popularity with consumers.
Spray’s December 2016 issue featured AEROBAL’s newly-released statistics showed that aluminum aerosol can production increased to nearly 2.9 billion can units in the first half of 2016 alone. This increase is a whopping 4.5% more than last year’s corresponding production time.
The Growing Aerosol Market
Part of the reason why aerosol popularity continues to grow is attributed to the expanding markets in South America and Asia. Even though North American aerosol markets continuously expand to meet consumer demand, the rapid growth in South America and Asia has really spurred the aerosol industry.
Consumer populations in Asia are extremely energetic about aerosol products. Customers in Asian markets positively respond to aerosol growth and increased product availability in their retail stores.
Even slightly unstable markets in the Middle East show steady aerosol product growth.
Popular Products
Consumers enjoy the benefits that aerosol products bring into their lives. From making cleaning their homes a breeze to aiding in their daily hygiene routine, aerosol products offer helpful tools for any part of the day.
The International Organization of Aluminum Aerosol Container Manufacturer’s president Eric Frantz explains that “both the cosmetics and pharma sectors are… witnessing a whole range of hidden marketing opportunities for aluminum aerosol cans thanks to its outstanding material properties.” These new marketing opportunities offers aerosol companies the promise of steady market futures.
